I'm Losing Weight?

Two and a half years post gastric bypass and MANY miscarriages later I am 4 months pregnant.  With every OB visit the baby has shown steady growth and to be healthy.  I am eating plenty but am losing weight instead of gaining.  I'm a little worried.  Shouldn't I be gaining at least a small amount?  I already have a baby bump that makes me look like I am 6 months instead of just 4, but that is the ONLY place I have expanded.  And I actually weigh three pounds less than I did before I got pregnant.  Anyone else experience this? Should I be concerned? And anyone care to share how much they gained during a post WLS pregnancy?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and have the same issue. At my 12 week appt I had yet to gain any weight. However, I have had some pretty rough mornng sickness and nausea so even if not throwing up I don't have the urge to eat. I try to stay hydrated and now that in the 2nd trimester it is getting better. I wonder if I had maybe lost some weight only to gain back to my original weight? Is it possible you had the same issue? Either way, if development of the baby is doing well and doctor is following up that is great. Some women just don't gain until later in pregnancy.

I am almost 34 weeks now and so far i am at -6#. My doctor told me as long as baby is measuring on target there is no reason to gain weight. I am also eating about 8 times a day and at my last appt the scale finally moved 4 pounds. If your baby is measuring fine dont worry about it. I had my VSG done in 2010 and lost about 80 pounds. I actually went down 3 pants sizes while pregnant.
