update

got checked today and i'm at 2 cm and my cervix is softening. good to hear. midwives seem to be in no rush. they act like its gonna be past my due date. pffft. lol. but she told me to walk walk walk, squat and do tailor sitting. so i'm gonna try that. my friends suggest sex and nipple pulling. lol. i think i'll save that for if i go passed my due date. i want him to come when he's ready. i'm pretty proud of my body for doing what its supposed to be doing on its own. i don't wanna rush or force anything ya know?

Sounds likes things are coming along nicely for you. The semen has properties in it that helps soften the cervix, so sex is a good thing.  It doesn't make you go into labor just helps things progress naturally.

Its good that your not rushing and that you feel good. Let that baby stay in there as much as he/she needs to. Its the best place for that baby to be. . .Trust me I know that you want to meet your baby already . . .I know thats how I feel.  .I can't wait to meet my two little monkeys!!! But once they're out they are out and we'll have a long long long time with them

Oh yeah, one thing I failed to mention the other day...right prior to my contractions starting, my hubby and I had sex....

If I'm not mistaken what supposedly makes sex bring on labor is his semen. I'm not 100% but that's what I have heard. Also heard pineapple 

At that point in my pregnancy I told my husband that if that was the ONLY way to get the kid out then we were going to have to figure out how to put college text books in there because THAT was the furthest thing from my mind and it may be until the kid is ready for college before we try IT again....lol
