really? they said i have 2 options. go in the pool once a day every day for a week leading up to the test, or dilute 1/2 a tsp of bleach in 24 oz of water and spla**** on the area once a day.

Hmmm... weird - never heard of doing any of that.

I just lurk for the most part because I plan on getting pregnant in a year or two.

I just wanted to comment on the temp part. 100.5 would have been a full blown fever for me. I naturally run at 96 degree's, this is common with thyroid pt's. So when I hit 99 I am in fever mode. I don't know where your temp usually runs but I would base it off that. For example when I had a leak which resulted in an abscess, my peak fever was 99.5. The doctor wanted to send me home but the PA, thank god, decided to give me a scan instead and found the abscess. Moral of the story temps do matter per person...especially if you run low naturally.

thanks :) i have been running hot my entire last trimester. in the 98.6 range i believe. so i guess there's more wiggle room for me. luckily my temps have gone back to normal. but i do notice i have to keep myself cool because i can easily over heat with all this extra blood inside of me.

makes total sense to run hot being pregnant:) i just needed to state that sometimes normal temps aren't normal for everyone. i can't wait to have children...got to finish nursing first though. congrats!
