Loss and some questions

Sadly we did lose our little bean.  It was a rough week, but it was uncomplicated and didn't require a D&C!  It is nearing the end now.  Still crampy...but it is better than it was.

My question's are how long did it take for the hcg to leave your system?  I am still getting a positive even though I know there is Zero chance of a bean!  They said it doubles down like it doubles up (depending on how far along you are also) but everyone is different.  Just trying to see what others have experienced!  Also, I know it is different for everyone again...but when did you start to ovulate again?  They said we didn't have to wait since it was uncomplicated, but not sure what to expect as far as that goes.  Anyone else have experience in those areas?

Any help is appreciated!

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago but mine required a d&c so I'm not sure about the levels dropping. (((Hugs)))

I'm so sorry for your loss, there is no other pain like that of a miscarriage. Be gentle with yourself and feel what you feel.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I am thankful for you it was uncomplicated.

I had a DNC while having emergency surgery for my ectopic. I ovulated about 2 weeks later than usual counting DNC day as cycle day 1. I was surprised my body bounced back so quick. I know several women who got pregnant the cycle after a miscarriage. I've heard that fertility is boosted after a miscarriage. I think most doctors recommend waiting a month or two to TTC again, but I don't know what your doctor told you. I wish you the best for your future TTC endeavors.

Thank you for the support! We were told we didn't have to wait if we didn't feel the need to.  Since it was an uncomplicated loss there wasn't a reason to wait.  We were told fertility is boosted after miscarriage also.   I still have a positive test, but it is so light now that it almost isn't there...hoping my body gets back into the swing of things!  I am not sure why, but this loss was more emotional for me than the first loss!  Not sure why, but maybe because I really want our son (who is 4 now) to have a sibling!
