When were you cleared for pregnancy?

My surgeon initially told me 18 months post op but at my 1 year post op appt I had reached my goal weight and he cleared me. However, DH and I decided to wait till the original 18 months post op so my body would have more time to get used to the gastric bypass and weight loss. My first cycle after 18 months we got pregnant!!! Good luck!!!
