Gestational diabetes/Reactive hypoglycemia menu???
Does anyone have gestational diabetes or is eating while pregnant to combat RH?? And if so could you share what and how often you eat?
I don't have gestational diabetes but my RH seems worse since I am pregnant (sometimes I know why because I overindulged in carbs but sometimes it has nothing to do with what I ate).
Have an apt with surgeon on Thurs since my OB and PCP don't know what to do with me.

My blood sugar got super wonky after I found out I was pregnant. I started getting low readings a lot. My dr told me to eat more and more often. Now I try to eat every 2-3 hours and eat a carb and protein together. If I have too many carbs or sugar at one time my sugar will plummet shortly after (I guess that's the RH?). I had a couple of bites of a DQ blizzard last night (I know, bad bad lol but it was seriously only maybe 4-5 bites) and about 45 min later I started sweating and my heart was racing. My sugar had dropped to 43. I guess I just need to stay away from the sweets and stick with the carb protein combos. I wish I could be of more help!

I found out I was pregnant because of my sugars dropping never even thought I could be. I have to eat every 1 and a half to 2 hours or I drop to the low 2.s canadian not sure what that is for your readings. I have to eat protin and a complex carb no jam peanut butter fruit on it own and any sugar is what I was told I have put on alot more then I wanted to but as long as the baby is health I can work heard to get it off after. I am also taking glybobay again not sure what it would be for you
