Holy crap!
I'm almost 8 months out from VSG and down 110lbs from highest, only 20 to goal.
Aaaaaaaaaand I tested preggo today. A faint line then a clear "pregnant" from a digital test.
This is my first time being pregnant, a total shock and surprise. Holy ****!
I'm taking two celebrate multis per day (that have a TON of B12 and 800 folic) 1000mg of calcium (get 500 from protein shake) and a 36mg iron every other day. My labs in July were good.
I have an appt on Monday to confirm and get labs done.
Any info on what works for others would be great!!!

Congrats! I got pregnant 6 months after my VSG. I had lost most of my weight, my labs were all good, and I had no problems with fluids or protein. So, hubby and I figured we'd stop birth control and see what happened... about a minute later I was pregnant, lol. I had no issues during the pregnancy. My labs were fine, baby was slightly bigger at birth than my pre-op baby (and born a week earlier), and I had a very uneventful pregnancy. I only gained about 18 lbs (compared to 22 preop) and had no trouble losing that plus another 10 to get to my original goal.
Good luck, you'll do great!
