Placenta pills

 Have any of you ever done placenta encapsulation? Its where they take your placenta, chop it up, dry it out, grind it up and turn it into capsules for you to take.

Ingesting your placenta is supposed to:

Help stabilize your hormones (help with baby blues)
Help produce more milk
Make your after birth period not last as long
Help your body heal quicker
All around get your body back to normal quicker

I plan on doing it but its gonna cost a pretty penny.  $250

I was just wondering if anyone else on here had done it and what your experience was. I will definitely be sharing my experience with you guys.

I have never heard of this.....very interesting......going to have to look that one up and read more about it.  Don't know that i will have anymore kiddos, but im sure it will be an interesting read.  And please do share results!!

 i know!! crazy right? :) i went to a birthing class yesterday and i'm excited about the childbirth process. its gonna be a waterbirth and i'm just feeling so excited and positive about it. i will def share my birth experience and the placenta pill experience with everyone. :)
