It may Be?????
Hello,
I had the sleeve in Jan 2011 and im truly happy with my results, not to mention my tummy tuck that was in Feb 2012. My tummy tuck wasnt elective, i had a huge ventral hernia that needed repaired and i have had 4 surgeries in the past to repair but they always came back. Ive had problems with hernias before WLS , so my doctor told me to see plastics. Plastics would do an abdominal reconstruction to repair muscles in my tummy as a result (TUMMY TUCK) I was happy withthat decision and the surgeon said that 99% of the time this would fix all my hernia problems ive had since childhood, so before you judge i wouldnt have never had it if i knew i would be pregnant. Well, im not sure just yet but i think i might be..... Im also a newlywed , my husband and i just celebrated our 1 year. Im scared as HELL, Nervous and its driving me crazy to find out..... !!
Has anyone ever had plastics then got pregnat afterwards???? My biggest question ??? How much weight did you gain??? Did your stomach go back to normal????
Open to all your opinions and answers, looking forward to hearing from you soon....

Hi~
Do not worry about weight gain if you are blessed with a pregnancy.
Take your vitamins, vitamins, vitamins!
Tell you doctor, get levels checked asap~ keep track of your glucose levels.
You may need extra care with progesterone, aspirin, etc...
Weight loss can be achieved post pregnancy, many here have accomplished it.
I wish you wellCheri

Congratulations on your surgery, on your marriage, and your possible pregnancy . .lol!
I haven't had a tummy tuck, I wish I did but now that I am pregnant I'm glad I didn't.
I had the RNY in March 2010 and have lost over 130 pounds. I am 3 months pregnant with twins and have gained just abot 6 pounds so far. . .I know I have a lot more to come. . lol but from what I hear RNY'ers and Sleevers lose that baby weight with no problems. I'm sure you're tummy will be fine and the good thing is that you didn't do the tummy tuck for looks, you did it for the hernia problem so maybe your tummy might not be super flat but it won't be like it was pre-op. Congrats again :0 ) Let us know when you finally find out if you really are pregnant!!
