Wow how time flies!!!  My little bear is now a month old and is doing great.  I weighed him this morning and he is a whole 9lbs which is up 3lbs since coming home from the hospital.  I can really see his face filling out and he actually has a little chubbers on his little legs.  He is a good little sleeper (for the most part) and nursing like a champ.  He rarely cries and when he does big brother and sister run to his side and yell MOM FEED HIM QUICK........lol.  I have to say i have been blessed with such a good little boy.  It's cont' to be busy at the house as we had a litter of puppies (Golden's)which the last one went to her new home today......wahooo!!!  Austin started football and boy is there a lot of practice involved in that.......ugh.....I am soooo glad Allison decided not to play s****er (although i was sad about it) just so i can have a little break.   And worst of all we found out 2wks after Anderson was born that my hubby does have Lymphoma :(.  We meet with the oncologist in Hershey this week to schedule further testing so we can get treatment started.  It i not what you want to hear when it's suppose to be a joyful time, but we are getting thru it.  I am trying not to stress too much because i don't want to put a damper on my milk production.  We have faith that it was caught early and God will see us thru.  Anyway.....enough of the sad stuff here are some pics of our sweet little bear......

This was at 11pm watching the Steelers....guess he is a little football fan too..lol

Here he is in his little hat is sister just HAD to buy....they are always shopping for him...it's almost like they have forgotten that there is stuff for them in the store.....lol...i won't complain i think it is tooo sweet.  I think he is going to have blue eyes like daddy.....I do all the hard work and have yet to get one that looks like me....lol....oh well they get just enough of me to make them cute

he's gorgeous- congratulations.  i'm sorry about your husband.  there is a great group called imerman angels which hooks people up with other people who are survivors of similar cancers and tell how great they are doing now.  it's all done via online and phone.  if you google it you will find them.  they also hook caregivers up with caregivers incase your husband doesn't want to talk about it yet with anyone.

lots of luck to you and your family.

Thanks!  we are enjoying him a lot!!  I will have to check out the group myself as hubby does not like talking about what all he is going to have to go thru.  His friends have called him wanting him to play fall softball and he didn't even want to tell them about it.  He really is having a hard time, but he doesn't want to talk about everything.  His mom passed away from cancer when he was a teenager so i know that is all he thinks about.  I remind him all the time that treatment has advanced thru the years and he doesn't even know what kind of cancer his mom had as it was thru her body till they found it.  Lymphoma is a very treatable form of cancer and i think we found it very soon.

Thanks Again

glad it was caught early and it's so normal to not want to talk about it.  www.livestrong.org also has  patient navigation system for free that gives a lot of information.  you can also request a book that has a binder with info and space to keep all your notes from dr.s' visits, etc...

Hey Tiff!  He is beautiful and I love the hat!  Sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but at least now you know what you're up against.  Like you said, Lymphoma is highly treatable thank Goodness.  Will keep you guys in my prayers though because it's still scary and stressful.

We're getting on a plane tomorrow (all 5 of us) and coming to the U.S. to see my mom and sister and then going to Disneyworld!  It will be an adventure!!!!

I'll try to get some pics posted of Matthias again soon, he's almost 5 months old already!!!  He's scootching... and would very much like to crawl.  He's growing so fast!

You guys take care!

Thanks Linda.....wow sounds like a fun adventure!!!  I can't wait to see the pics!  Time goes by soooo fast and they grow like little weeds.

We are standing strong and hopefully will start treatments in the beginning of Sept.  The waiting is the hardest.

Hope you are having fun!!
