Thank you for the update Sherry-Lynn! It sounds like you have a little fighter there! I will continue to pray for you guys!

Do you know anyone who has the same kind of heart diagnosis? Does it run in your family at all? I can imagine knowing someone or finding a support person who has been through it would be helpful? I'm sure you are learning a lot more than you ever thought you would about hearts! Take care as best as you can!

No we do not know anyone with the same diagnosis. It does not run in our family that we are aware of either. There are great amilies here at the children's hospital and lots of information. They are not operating today, letting Shaelyn rest and getting rid of extra fluids from the iv pushes and making sure that her kidneys and liver are functioning well before they decide to operate. So far everything is good in that department. Because of the sedation she is in, they are starting to hear faint bowel sounds again and she has pooped 2x for them overthe last 12 hrs. Good news!!!. Will update again soon.

I have a co-worker whose nephew was born with the same rare defect. i will try to get information for you, as much as I can. Lots of luck to your little one... keep us posted.
