Ok, Something Is Going On, BUT.....
DH keeps saying "she isn't due yet, it's not the 19th" Why can't he get it through his head that most babies don't show up on their due dates? That is much more frustrating!!!!  I sent him work (it is an hour away) and I told him I would keep him updated every hour. Its all I can due at this point. We didn't want him to lose a days pay if this isn't it. Money is tight with me now being off for 8 weeks and Maternity leave benefits haven't started rolling in yet been off only a week so far. I went for another NST yesterday (I am 38weeks 4 days as of today) everything was good, no contractions, nothing. Had Pizza last night (horribly spicy sauce, I hate spicy, not our usual pizza place, now it wasn't overly spicy I just hate spicy) Went for a walk around the block, had my bath (not a hot one  I like them hot but know I can't right now) and went to bed about 10am. Woke up at 10:55 with double leg cramps (in the shins) OUCH!!! Walked those out and was back in bed 20 mins later. Slept until 1:30am, had to  pass gas (from the pizza) and go pee. Felt fine other than minor gas pains. Woke up again at 3:30am with more gas needing to be released but couldn't. Holy crap feeling like a fart caught sideways & 9 months pregnant is brutal. Rolled around changing positions, got up to pee, tried to pass the gas and nope. Said to myself , oh just go back to bed, you have to get up at 5am to get DH out the door. Couldn't sleep with the gas pains. Got up at 4:30 and sat on the toilet hoping to pass gas, got a gripping period like cramp and had a bit of a BM (sorry TMI) it even hurt to do that during the wave of period cramps. When I wiped I felt wetter than normal (not the rear end....LOL the front end) so I turned on the light and noticed I had pink on the paper and more slimy mucus...TMI sorry again. I thought those are not GAS PAINS!!!! Now I am trying to decide if they are real contractions or BH. I don't want to contact the hospital as of yet until things pick up, I only live 5 min away so not a huge deal. The pains are coming every 10-15 min and last about 30 sec. Not much spotting going on at this time, just if I really reach up there and wipe. Hoping this is it, but wi**** would have happened over the weekend too. Guess I can`t get everything I want...LOL So what do you gals think? Real contractions? Update: Its about 12:30 pm here (time is really out on this board for me) Still contracting about every 15 min and lasting 30 sec each one. Lost more pink/brown (more than earlier today) mucus Still at home, going to call the hospital soon and see what they have to say. FX this is it and if I go in to be evaluated they keep us!!! I can only hope!!! Will update again later!!! |
