pouch envy
So normally Husband & I are really on the same page being that we have both had RNY, its great because we understand that feelings & issues (diatary & others that go along with it) However, I am having a moment where I am totally annoyed with him ;( I am 18 months post op & he is 6 months post op.....However, he can eat twice as much as I can & what will take me an hour to eat takes him 5 min (& twice as much foodd) & he is the one that is only 6 months out... & I am the one trying to feed our 13 week old fetus!! SO frustrating!!!
My hubby had RNY on 4/10 and can eat much more than i could that early out. IDK if it is because he is a male and they don't make the pouch as small.....i have been trying to figure that out. I know my surgeon does personalize all her WLS to the needs of the patient....for example my hubby didn't need to loose near as much as i did b/c he was only about 100lbs over weight and i was 200lbs + overweight. She will tell you that every persons needs are diff. therefore every surg. she does is slightly diff d/t the patient. She has been doing WLS for 20yrs, so she knows what she is doing and would trust her with any of my family and friends. I know it is frustrating to see them eating what you couldnt esp that early out, but each person is diff and will have diff results. Also what amazes me is how much my hubby has lost already, he only has about 25lbs to loose to get to goal....grrrrr.
