Wondering!!!!

Wondering how easy and the rate of people getting pregnant after a tubal.  I had a tubal done about a year ago or so.  I still don't have my period normally or it's not normal I should say so I cant tell when it's due.  BUT  I'm so freaking tired and have very sore boobs.  Hoping its just a period coming soon.  I don't want another one!!  Sorry but I have four and I was told the baby and I would more than likely die if I got pregnant again.  Thats why I had the tubal in the first place.

The likelyhood is rare esp. if it's been over a year since your tubal.  It does happen, but usually pretty early out from the tubal.  There are a lot of ligaments that a doctor may mistake as the tube and do the procedure to it.  I have worked with doctors who do hundreds a year and every once and a while have an opps.  I generally joke with the doctor and the patient telling them that he will be paying child support for the next 18yrs:).  However if you are preg and the tubal was correct it is very possible it could be a tubal preg. as the egg wouldn't be able to get to the uterus.  So, i would test to rule it out and put your mind at ease.

Thank you so much Tiff.  He didn't open me up to do it.  Just made 2 small cuts and he took pictures and gave those to me. Like I know what I was looking at. lol  I feel better knowing it's very rare.  If things don't change by next week I will test.  You helped me so much.  Thanks again.  Toni
