BFP!!- Vitamins Question
Hi,
Just found out I am pregnant on Friday. I have an appointment coming up on Tuesday and I had a question about viamins.
Do I take vitamins X 2 from here on? I normally take 1 Multivitamin with vinerals and 1 Prenatal (been taking them for over a year) a day. Along with my other supplements. Just curios if I should increase any of that.
I will be 2 years Post Op on July 31st, and I have been on maintenance for the last 9 months or so. I am 32 but this is my first pregnancy in 16 years, so I am very rusty LOL.
We were TTC for 4 years before surgery, and I went off BCP in November, so it has been a long wait. I am super excited but super nervous at the same time. I am also a Thyroid cancer survivor. So I know mine is considered a High Risk P{regnancy. I am keeping my fingers crossed all goes well. :D

Lots of baby dust to you and I hope it all works out ok. CONGRATS!
As far as the vitamins, as long as you keep getting your levels checked throughout pregnancy I don't think you'd need to increase what you are taking, though you may consider switching to 2 prenatals instead of a normal vitamin because the Vitamin A in regular vitamins can sometimes be a form that is not so good for your baby.

Hey there, I'll be 2 years post op on Aug 31 and I'm just about 22 weeks preg right now.
Prior to conceiving I was taking 2 multi's, 2 calcium, vit D + extra Vit D cuz I was low + folic acid while I was TTC. Once I got preg my doc scrapped all of that and put me on Preg Vit, which is a prescription prenatal vit that has lots of iron and folic acid..It's 2 a day, one in the morning (pink) and one in the night (blue). Nothing more nothing less...
