i don't take anything chewable or liquid. i was taking something like natures finest but my RE put me on One A Day Women's Prenatal with DHA. its 2 pills a med size pink tablet (prenatal) and a big yellow gel cap (DHA).

if you want chewable they have prenatal gummies in the drugstore. but i don't know how good they are. plus you'll probably get added sugar. but if its all you can tolerate then i don't see the harm. still i would check with your dr first.

Your doctor can prescribe chewable prenatals for you. I tried one of my friend's once. They were discusting! LOL. There are some you can find online as well. Good luck! I hope yours taste better :)
I wouldn't trust the gummy vitamins, they are way less complete than regular multi's if you compare them side by side.

My dr. tried to put my on prescription prenatals that were chewable, but it turns out that most insurances don't cover them so they switched me to normal form.  If you can't do big pills, but instead small ones, you may be able to get away with your normal chewables (just not Flintstones), and get your dr. to prescribe a folic acid pill.  Mine is a super small tablet.

I've been taking Bariatric Advantage chewable multivitamins (in addition to iron, calcium, etc)  ever since my surgery in 2006, and they're a great pre-natal vitamin for post-RNY folks. I just had my annual bariatric checkup last week, and I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. My bloodwork all looks great - no deficiencies. And my folic acid is good, which we all know is important.

I highly recommend the B.A. chewables for all post-surgery people, whether trying to conceive or not.
