I have been getting sick a few times a week since week 7 and Im at week 18 now. The only thing is that when I 'vomit' its never actually anything I just dry heave and break blood vessels in my face making me look like a pimply teenager. Does anyone else get like this? Not actually being able to throw up? Is this because of my RNY? If anyone has dealt with this, how have you mannaged it?

It is because of your RNY that you don't really throw up. This is due to 2 things. 1.) You don't have nearly as much muscle to propel what is in your pouch upward. 2.) You don't have stomach acid in your pouch. I've only vomited or "slimed" I guess they call it once since surgery and it took a tremendous amount of work to get anything up and when it did come up, it was only a couple of tablespoons of food and saliva.

If the nausea is really bad, I would talk to your doctor about getting a prescription for Zofran so that you're not having to deal with the dry heaving and the subsequent broken blood vessels in your face. It can't be very good on your pouch, either, dry heaving that much...
