12 week ultrasound :) :) :)

i hate all the waiting but i want to slow down and enjoy it. i've been waiting for this for soooo long. my next big milestone is finding out the sex. they told me i have to wait till 18wks. seems like an eternity!! but at least i won't have to wait in silence like the passed 2 months.

Congratulations! I had to have a transvaginal u/s at my 20 weeks because my baby wouldn't cooperate, either - he was head down, back towards us, and wouldn't move for anything! She guessed at that time he was a boy, and during a later u/s, I asked them to try to verify the sex, and she told me he had his hand between his legs covering his penis (but she could see testicles, so luckily she was still able to verify tht it was a boy)! So be warned that they can be quite stubborn throughout  ;)

I felt weird calling it "it" all the time, too. I think that's why lots of people make up little nicknames before they know the sex or choose a real name. My baby, Ben, was formerly known as Jiffy  :P

The photo frames is a great idea and way of presenting the news. You're better than me; I couldn't wait 12 weeks to tell! I told my parents less than a week after we found out.

 haha thats so cute. i think the stubborness is adorable. lol. i don't mind the transvaginal if it helps me see the baby better. i used to hate it but i got used to it.

ha. its soo hard for me to keep secrets. i'm glad i was smart enough not to say anything the first time bc i didn't have to tell ppl about the MC so i made sure to do the same this time around. and now for the pay off. finally. i cannot wait. my mom just retired so i see us spending a lot of time together doing baby related things. its thei first grandchild so its gonna be awesome. :)
