Some common terms:

TTC – trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN – big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD – the day of your menstrual cycle
O – ovulation
DPO – days past ovulation
LP – luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF – aunt flow ( your period)
PG – pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE – reproductive endocrinologist
OPK – ovulation prediction kit
CL – coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met – metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD – baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD – doing the deed
IUI – inter uterine insemination
IVF – in vitro fertilization
PCOS – polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS – pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW – two week wait…time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Please add me my cycles range anywhere from 21_23 days and my lmp was 5/4.... Af has yet to arrive I tested yesterday bfn.... if she doesnt show her ugly head then I will test again later on during the week. Send me some baby dust!!!! BTW, I am almost one year out (6/6) RNY and down 140lbs from 285 wishing everyone the best!!! I have an appt with my new ob in the 8th so hopefully I will be there for more than just my annual

We are offically TTC!
My yearly is June 14 with an ultrasound to see the ovaries.
I ran out of sticks, not sure if I had a surge.
If tests show no Oing, then we will start Clomid.

 oooh exciting!!! how much longer do you have to wait?

I should be able to test today or tomorrow, but I need to go buy a test. I tested 5/27 midday and bfn(too early and didnt use fmu). my period was due between 5/25~5/28 sice my cycles are usually 21~24 day cycles. I had some cramping last week and was sure af was going to start, but nada. I don't want to get uber excited as we werent supposed to start "trying" til August, we are just "seeing what happens" til then. My hubby also had a dream that I was pregnant with a girl. Its kinda funny BC that last time I was pregnant I dreamt I was pg and I was.... Now he's the one dreaming it lol. He kinda knows that i'm late, I lied and saidit wasnt due til next week bci didnt want to get him excited, PLUS I want to surprise him I have no symptoms besides being extra hungry and wanting sweets, but that may just be PMS?I don't want to get to excited... But I can't help it

 that sounds promising. not getting AF is the best!!! let us know how it goes!!
