I know how you feel! I am almost 4 months out and feeling the same thing. I too was diagnosised with PCOS and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 5 years. I started at 280 and am now 199 and as happy as I am to be thinner and healthier I am still feeling the loss of not being a mother yet. I am confident that this surgery will allow both of us to cOncive. The one thing I have started doing was keeping a journal written to my future child chronicalling my endeavor to conceive them so that my son or daughter will one day know how very much wanted and loved they were before they were created.
I wish you luck and can't wait for your us to finally get out BFP!

Take care of yourself. Get to a normal, healthy weight and be in the best possible place weight-wise before conceiving. You've had surgery recently, emotions are reeling, and there's no reason to get pregnant just yet. Wait until your weight stabilizes, and your hormones have a chance to settle. You've had one miscarriage, no reason to chance/risk more with getting pregnant too early. Not saying it doesn't happen because it does, but if you can take care of you, prepare your body for baby-growing then do it. I was released for TTC at 8 months post-op because I was below goal, my labs were good, I was able to eat enough calories to support my body and a developing baby. I endured 2 chemical pregnancies the first year of TTC and we were on our way to the reproductive endo because we couldn't get a sticky baby. Well, 12 months of trying, we got Tatum to stick, I delivered in October last year, and now I'm 19weeks6days pregnant with my second post-op baby. Pregnancy with Tatum was super easy except for the mental twist of the weight regain, this pregnancy is vastly different, I'm nauseated all the time, food isn't working, I've been on 3 different vitamins in attempts to not be sick all the time, my iron is tanking and well, it just kind of sucks. I'm still fatigued like the first trimester, and I'm miserable. So, pregnancy isn't always fabulous, I'm learning that super quick in this pregnancy.
Take time, allow your body to heal, get all of your excess weight off, prep yourself mentally and emotionally for the ups and downs of TTC.

I know how much baby fever can hit, especially after surgery and knowing it was something that would be possible for me. I got pregnant 3 months out from surgery and let me tell you this.. although my son has been perfectly healthy and my labs are coming back great, I understand why they tell you to wait. I struggle with weakness and low blood sugar if I don't eat at least every two hours. It was hard to get in protein my first trimester because nothing agreed with me but carbs. I barely ate my first trimester. I just hope you will give yourself time to get to a stable weight and get to a healthier state before you go about the business of building life. It's a hard job! Congrats on your weight loss and I hope for your future success

So glad I posted on here - love hearing everyone's stories.
I am still on the pill, of course, 2 months is just too soon!
Just wanted to feel the waters & hear everyone else's experiences! :)
Thanks, ladies! :)

i hear ya! i'm 8 months out and know that i need to wait at least until september for my year check up. i'm just so paranoid that my surgeon is going to say wait until 18 months. my labs are great and my weight loss has slowed to 5-7 pounds per month. because of the difficulty we had trying to get pregnant prior to surgery i am assuming we'll have the same issues and want help sooner rather than later (Will be 37 in february). i spent 2 years with fertility treatments and am dreading going through that again. i want to try naturally for a few months and if we are permitted to try in september that gives me enough time before i would have to go back to an RE.
