Ultrasound! :) (PICS)

So I had my first appointment with my doctor on Tuesday. Listened for the heartbeat, but didn't pick it up. Still a little on the early side to hear with the doppler and from the sounds of it, the placenta was between it and the baby as I heard my own pulse loud and clear. So I'll have to wait to hear that oh-so-joyous sound.

But I didn't have to wait too long to see my little one! :) I got an u/s appoinment for the very next day (yesterday) and the u/s went great! Baby's measuring right on target to where I am based on my LMP. He/she is actually measuring a couple of days ahead, but my doc won't change my due date unless the dates differ by more than a week, so Dec. 4th will still be my EDD. Apparently, they don't do audio of the baby's heartbeat anymore like they did when I was pg with my daughter, so I didn't get to hear it even at the u/s which was a little bit of a bummer, but I did see the little heart just flickering away and the tech measured the beats at about 173bpm. Maybe that high heart rate means another girl??? LOL Baby was doing all kinds of acrobatics in my uterus and looks so good. We got some great pics, too. Here are a couple of them :) Suddenly this pregnancy seems so much more real. LOL

 love love love this!! bummer about the audio. i got visual and audio at my RE but who knows how it will be at the OB. love these pics!!! makes me happy. i can't wait to see mine again.
