 Good Afternoon ladies!

It feels like just yesterday I had my surgery 12/15/2008, and I have not posted here forever, but find at this stage in my life I am in need of support of those who have been through and are going through what I am.  About me:  I have meet my goal weight, (finally) lost 100 pounds and I'm 35 y.o. and DH are finally TTC.  My concern is this, my cycles have always been to the day regular, and yet my friend should have arrived on 04/09 but has yet to make an appearance.  All OTC tests have come back negative.  I am just wondering if anyone has has had this experience, or if it could possibly be related to our surgies, (meaning the negative tests).  I am planning to call my Dr. on Monday, but thought I would post here for some feed back or thoughts until then.  Its kinda making me crazy and the more I try NOT to think about it the more I am.  Thanks for reading and hugs to everyone out there !!!

Warm Regards,

Joanne

I had that experience and yes it was nerve wrecking but my advice would be to wait a little then test again and if still negative but you feel sure then request a blood test good luck.

My posts below pretty much say it all for me, I can't get positive tests until AT LEAST a week after my missed period.  Good luck!

Thanks everyone!  It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one out there who feels as if they're "going" crazy!

Happy Mother's day everyone!!

It has nothing to do with WLS. I can say when I was thinking I might be pregnant (my cycles were always pretty irregular, so I had no idea if I was late or not), I took THREE "First Response" home pregnancy tests, and they ALL came out negative. I took three Dollar Tree home pregnancy tests, and they were all positive! Blood test from my doc confirmed I was at LEAST 6 weeks pregnant when I had taken the home tests. Never knew why the First Response (expensive!) tests did not work for me.
