when did you start to show?

ha! i love you for saying that!! it makes sense. taller means more vertical space. its true. everything on me pops out, if i was taller at this weight i would look fantastic. lol. so i'm hoping you're right!!

thats interesting. see i'm at the stage right now where support isn't an issue yet. right now i feel i can't wear anything tight because its uncomfortable. i can only wear a sports bra or maternity bra and i can only wear loose tops and i prefer to wear my sweat pants all the time. lol. i don't outside of course. but i'll wear loose shorts. but i guess when the baby gets bigger i'm gonna need more support. so i'll keep that in mind! maternity spanx and other supportive garments. sounds super uncomfortable to me right now, but i'm sure when i need more support it will sound good.

More support definitely feels better later on in the pregnancy! It's crazy to think about just knowing how uncomfortable anything remotely restricting is to wear right now, but as the belly grows things change in that area! LOL

Here's my starting point with this pregnancy. It was taken at the 5 week mark so I have something to compare to further down the line. I've taken other pics since then and have been posting them to FB but I don't see any difference yet (granted I'm only 10 weeks, but you supposedly show sooner after you've already been through one pregnancy). I guess we'll see if my weight lost so far actually allows me to have a baby belly. As you can see I still have a very prominent "B" shaped belly so I honestly don't know what to expect. LOL

5 weeks

10 weeks

I'm still losing, too. I was 263 the day my doc confirmed my pregnancy at 3w6d. I've lost a little more than 10lbs so far.

i have a b shaped belly as well. very similar to yours only i have a bigger panni. right now i look normal only 10-15lbs heavier than i was 9 weeks ago. i'm sure you'll show more with this pregnancy since you've lost weight and you're supposed to pop out sooner with the 2nd baby. damn this b shape. i mean the baby is in the lower part right? in the panni part. so does that part pop out or does the upper tummy?

At 20 weeks the top of your uterus should be at your belly button, so it's the lower part that grows first, but of course all that kinda pushes things up so it's really difficult to say exactly how your belly will grow. I can feel a firmness in the panni part of my tummy now where before it was just flab and skin and very soft, so I'm inclined to say that the lower part of my tummy is growing now and there's no difference in the upper part yet.

how exciting! i can't wait to feel firmness anywhere!! :) i'm still all soft and flabby at the moment. its exciting when i feel any change. sometimes i'll wake up and touch my boobs and get excited that they feel bigger or fuller. :) its fun!

LOL Oh yes I'm totally on board with the bigger/fuller boobs! Haha. They were looking pretty sad before I got pregnant! :)

ha mine too! when i was at my biggest i loved my boobs. but then they got totally deflated. like serious pancake. sad sad. so i'm excited to see them getting fuller. even if its temporary. lol.

Congrats on your little one!  I started my pregnancy at 180 lbs and am about 3 inches taller than you.  I didnt start to show until 6 months and had alot of the same concerns with the way I felt and looked.  Since the 6 month mark my belly has grown and grown and GROWN.  We are 8.5 months now and am looking full on pregnant.... and loving it! lol  Women in my family told me that your body really changes in the last few months and I definitely see it now....lol

That baby bump will be setting in soon!  Get lots of sleep and don't listen to anything negative that anyone has to say.  Know that you are creating a beautiful life and amazing things are happening.  Best wishes :-)
