As for the braxton hicks, everything I've read says that can start as early as 6 weeks, but usually aren't felt until much later in the pregnancy.  I start feeling them at about 20 weeks and they just intensify as the weeks go on... so you probably have a while before you have to think much about them.  Glad to hear you're feeling so great!  I LOVE being pregnant and get very mild symptoms in the beginning (knock on wood)... glad you're in the same boat!

 thanks! everything is so easy right now. which is great because my husband and i are flying to montreal for vacation next week and i can't imagine making that trip with morning sickness! so i'm very lucky. here's to a smooth 9 months! and hopefully a smooth delivery. because let me tell you i'm nervous about that. lol.

ps. are the braxton hicks painful later on? have they been for you? or just uncomfortable.

Braxton hicks are different for everyone!  Some people never even feel them, maybe you'll be lucky!  Mine ranged from just barely noticable to downright "painful".  They seemed like they hurt at the time, but after real labor they're really more like a tickle in hindsight, lol.  Don't worry about them now... just enjoy and take things one day at a time.  Enjoy Montreal!

What a great picture of your little gummi bear baby! That's so weird about the BH contractions. Seeing your baby move around during the ultrasound is way cool. Just wait until you can feel those little movements! I swear it's the most amazing feeling ever! Weird. LOL But amazing. :) Congrats!!!
