baby's first ultrasound
That's great news. Seeing that little flicker on the screen for the first time lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I could breathe again. I found out about my MC during an US so I was terrified the second time around.
I was also with an RE so I got US every week for the first 12 weeks...boy did ever miss that once I graduated to the OB!
I can't remember if you're on Metformin or not but if you are, please talk to your RE and OB about staying on it. I stayed on it for my entire pregnancy and there's tons of research available to support doing that.

yeah i'm hoping for good news in the next u/s in 2 weeks. as long as i keep feeling these cramps and food aversion. the cramps can get intense at time and i look down and pat my lower stomach and say "you just keep letting mama know you're there". as long as i keep feeling that i feel ok.
but i am looking forward to seeing an OB and/or a midwife. i'm really looking forward to a little more hands on care.
no i'm not on metformin. haven't been on it since before surgery.
