Insane hair growth - anyone else?

I've always been very lucky in the body hair department. Minimal hair on my arms, legs, underarms, pretty much everywhere my hair is fine and light. I'm 12wk5d into this pregnancy, and I swear if I go more than 3 days with shaving, I could pose as Chewbacca's body double. It's insane!

I have never had to shave more than once every couple of weeks on my legs, about once a week for my underarms, and other areas were even less. But, now, it's a pretty much every other day occurrence for me to have to bust out the razor. And, it's not just stubble, it's rapid and long hairs popping out. Heaven forbid I miss a spot around my ankles because the hair seriously blows in the breeze.

I realize my hormones are way out of whack, I'm having intense sweet cravings which is a new thing in this pregnancy, and I'm having random nausea which is also a new symptom that I didn't experience in my last pregnancies.

Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this situation. I'm heavily considering getting waxed because it's just a PITA to shave constantly. Even my ob commented about how much hair I have going on, and I had just shaved the night before.

I was like that with my son.... I had hair even on my stomach and chest longggg thin hairs and seriously drove me crazy. I was told it would fall off once I had the baby and not to shave bc it would stimulate hair to grow after the baby and would be like my regular hair, not thin and light. I didn't shave those areas and sure enough it all fell off and went away.

Good deal. I'm not getting the freaky hair growth in weird places yet like I did with my previous pregnancies and yes, it all fell out shortly after delivery. I think I was just shocked when my husband freaked out when I was wearing a tank top last week and hadn't shaved for 1 day, and BAM, he and I were pretty grossed out HA.

I've heard that it means you're having a boy... guess you'll find out soon enough if that is the case.  I've never had anything like that with my pregnancies, but hair or not, I'm just jealous that you're having tank top weather!!

We go to the perinatologist Wednesday at 13wks for the genetic/anatomy scan all that fun stuff. I know it's too early to tell for gender, but I have had a couple of friends confirm boy this early.

It's been in the 70/80s here for a couple of weeks and I never wear tank tops out of the house lol.

Hair growth during pregnancy usually means a boy, I was practically not growing hair when I had my girl, totally opposite with the boy. Also since the boys birth my hair became curly and coarse unable to fix it since.

I craved salads with my girl and CHOCOLATE with my boy lol.

I was just thinking of this while talking with my sis's in law 2 of whom are pregnant.  When I was preggo with my girls, hair growth was slower. But when I was pregnant with my son..omg...it was INSANE. Trust me, I was happy I live in Canada and was pregnant over the winter! I couldn't keep up with the shaving, too nauseous...wore pants all the time! Right now, I'm also jealous you're having tank top weather..LOL

Being pregnant through Florida summers is insane, I hated it last year and could totally get away with my normal shaving routine. Not this year! ! ! I just shaved on Friday, and I just went outside and the sun hit my legs, GROSSNESS HA.

Since I was only not pregnant for a couple of months between Tatum's arrival and this pregnancy, I've told everyone who has asked "do you want a boy or a girl?", that I seriously do not care if I deliver a cat, I'm getting my tubes tied HA ha ha. I still can't believe I'm spending another FL summer pregnant. Thank goodness I'm a moderate couponer and have razors in my stockpile! ! !

I totally skipped shaving for most of the summer when I was first pregnant, I was too sick and was in total hippie mode. I lived on a pig farm and just chilled outside with our wild turkeys....Yeah my life is a far cry from those beginnings. LOL

I have coupon envy, we can't double up in Canada.. 

The things we deal with when preggo...seriously between the hair, heartburn and rib stretching it's a good thing those babies are precious!!!
