Long Time Since I Updated
Hello Everyone,
It's been awhile since I have give you all an Update, sooooo, here it goes.....
We are 25 weeks today.......made it to Viability...I am stoked!!! Baby Girl "Shaelyn" is doing very well. Kicking up a storm, although she has her quiet days/moments and it freaks mommy out. I ended up getting another doppler since mine broke awhile ago. Over the March Break here in Ontario (March 9-16th) my parents were down for a couple of days and Shaelyn must have been scared as she went very quiet and it really freaked me out. That's when Hubby decided that another doppler was a good Idea as I was driving him batty with, I can't feel her, I can't hear her (at that time we still didn't know the sex) and I was on the verge of tears all day and night. I tried everything to get her moving and nothing seemed to work. Once we got the doppler, that sweet sound of her heart beating relaxed me enough to be able to sleep and rest. I never thought I would get the chance to be a mommy after 18 years of trying, failing, and trying again. We never gave up hope completely and after many trials and losses we are finally going to be bringing home our sweet girl in just 15 weeks or so. I can't wait to hold her. We are almost set in getting things for her, I had some daycare kids here before and had a lot of the required equipment already. Got a couple of registries going and two showers set. We are having a huge one on June 10th (my niece is hosting) and that one is going to be a bumble bee theme. And on May 5th a good girlfriend from work is kidnapping me for the night for a girls night (baby shower at her cottage with the gals from work). Should be fun too!!! Went to a free Welcome Wagon Baby Shower last night and got tons of info from breastfeeding to RESP's well just about everything and even a quick cpr course was thrown it for good measure. There were about 100 pregnant ladies in attendance and we won a door prize. We won a Fisher Price Rainforest 1-2-3 activity mat for Shaelyn. Glad I went!!!
Well enough about us for now, I go the 18th for my next ob appoint. and then I go for my GD test!!! He is doing a blood serum as I can not tolerate the sugar drink at all~~~
Leaving you with something that I never do...... posting a pic of me!!! I am finally big enough in the top part of my belly to post a bump pic.....still battling that panni~~~thought for sure it would have risen with Shaelyn's growth, but nope, oh well can't always get everything I want, at least I am getting my baby~~~
Please exuse the crappy bathroom pic and the poor quality of my cell phone camera, couldn't find the other camera. OMG I LOOK AWFUL!!! Sorry I have been up since 4am and it is now noon!!!
