35 week update
I will be 35 weeks on Friday. I am definately ready to have this baby. They officially diagnosed me with Gestational Diabetes so I am taking medication for that twice a day. My numbers were not very high so when taking the medicine I have to eat every 2 hours or my blood sugar drops super low and I start getting shaky and dizzy. But it keeps my numbers lower and they say that is important.
Candice is measuring to be in the 98th percentile for weight and is transverse. I already have a repeat C section scheduled but they are thinking they might have to do a vertical incision which kinda scares me. My belly is hanging down so low, it rests on my legs when I sit which is right where the baby rests, it is crazy. My stomach did not hang this bad before and that is part of the reason they may do a vertical incision as well. Because of this low belly hanging down, it cuts off my circulation so bad, I get lightheaded easily and my ankles swell like twice their size.
I have been having non stress tests twice a week now for a couple weeks and those are going well, she is doing good and her fluid level is good.
I have a tubal planned during my C section and go in to meet with a surgeon on Thursday to see if he can repair a hernia I have from my previous C sections while I am open.
This pregnancy has been so uncomfortable compared to my first two. It is just amazing how each pregnancy can be so different. I am very ready to meet this little girl though and if I knew she'd be able to breathe fine and have no complications, I'd say please come out now, but I know it's best for her to stay a few more weeks.
Anyway, I hope everyone elses pregnancies are going well.
