Pregnant 4yrs post op HELP!
so i am 4yrs post op and and 5months 2weeks prego with num 3 (already have a 7yr old and 5yr old). im finding its hard to deal with pregnancy after rny. i am scared of gaining and not being able to loose after. i seem to be working out 2hrs a day 5 days a week to keep my weight down but seems like its not working...ive gained 18lbs so far and tear cause i dont want to gain much more. i know its so bad cause the baby needs all the food but ugh. i havent seen my surgeon yet but am making an appt to see them asap. i am at high risk due to me being severely anemic. i eat every 2 to 3 hrs small portions, but thinking its too much. my fetus weights about 1+lbs already (est fr ultrasound), but how do you just over come all of this? what am i doing wrong? my docs have told me to take it very easy, get a lot of rest, and not do to much, but i cant do it. we are a very active family, yet very busy...does anyone have like a menu plan or something? my doc have me seeing a nutritionist twice a month. HELP!

I know its hard after going through WLS, but I REALLY think you need to focus on having a healthy baby and NOT worry so much about your weight. You're more than halfway through your pregnancy already, so your body (and baby's body) needs the fuel for growth and development.
I agree that it is really tough to start gaining again after losig so much. But it is really important for your baby that you eat enough. Small meals every 2-3 hours is a good idea. I was going to mention as well that I am very anemic. I just finished my 4th iron nfusion for this pregnancy and I feel MUCH better. Can you talk to your doctor about possibly getting iron infusions? t only gets worse during pregnancy because the baby takes what they need first.
Good luck with everything. Please don't worry so much about putting weight on! It's hard, but your baby needs you to!
