Will I get an accurate result?

 Hello,

I have been reading alot of information about pregnancy tests and the best time to use them but the answers seem to vary from 1 site to the next. Now I know that after your missed period is ideal but lots of tests tell you that they can tell you before your missed period.

I went for a quantative blood test this morning and want to know if you ladies think I have any chance of getting an accurate answer. The first day of my last period was feb 13 and I am expecting it to come again on Monday.... What do you think?

I have been feeling exhausted lately, I have been rather moody too! I have been looking into all this pregnancy stuff so much that I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me!

Thanks so much everyone for your input!

I've had a negative blood test (quantitative) at 5 weeks (one week after missed period) and negative home tests until almost 6 weeks with both my pregnancies.  Everyone is different!

I had the earliest results with the cheap dollar tree test or the wal-mart 88cent test.  With the other test i kept getting neg results when it was acutally positive.  I find it easier to throw away a buck with a neg test then the 6-10 you spend on the more expensive test.

I have pregnancy tests that show results at 20 MIU and I am not seeing anything yet. I know it is still fairly early to use those ones...earliest would probably be the weekend. That's why I went for the blood test. I hate not knowing!

We conceived 11-11-11 and on 11-28-11 I had a positive home pregnancy test, confirmed by a blood test @ my doctors office 12-1-12.
