Gender test kit?
So I bought one today for the fun of it and took it. It read that I was having a boy. I'm not going to take it's result seriously but I just had fun with it and figured well this is our last baby so why not since I didn't do it with our baby girl while I was pregnant. I turned 16 weeks today and we have our big ultrasound in about 3 weeks but we have already decided to not find out our new baby's gender. So I guess it's still a 50/50 chance and we will still be surprised on delivery day. Has anyone else done this test and was it right or wrong? Just curious.
I peed on baking soda....
"It's the baking soda test. So you put a teaspoon of baking soda in a cup (mine was disposable) then put a little bit of pee in the cup, and if it sizzles, it's a boy, and if it does nothing, it's a girl! Supposedly your urine is more acidic if you're carrying a boy, (hence the sizzling action) and more alkaline if you're carrying a girl." (Copied from a webpage)
I had no sizzle or fizz so I guess girl, will find out hopefully on the 27th if it was accurate or not.
