Lily's here!
When we got to the hospital Sunday for my induction, I was already contracting every 4-6 minutes. No surprise there since I had been contracting for 6 weeks at that point! lol After about 9 hours I was 6cm and was worried it was going to be a very long labor as I had stalled at 7 for a really .long time with my son. After the nurse checked me and told me I was 6cm, she cathed me (because I had gotten an epidural) then turned me on my right side hoping a change in position would help me progress. All of a sudden it was as if my epidural disappeared and I was having excruciating pain in my pelvic bone. The anesthesiologist went ahead and gave me a booster on the epi and was on his way. It worked immediately, but then I started to feel pressure and called the nurse in. She checked me and said I was complete and the head was almost out. I went from 6cm to a baby in my arms in about 25 minutes! It was crazy, but wonderful! :) She was 8lbs 1oz and 20 inches long. She has a ridiculous appetite and thankfully my milk has come in today. I am very busy with the kids but we are getting settled in. I will try to update more when I have some time! Thanks for the well wishes! Here are some pics of my angels!
