Pregnancy testing

Hello, has anyone had any problems testing negative but are pregnant? I have all the symptoms and keep getting negative results. Please help!!

not me personally but my friend tested negative until about 2 months into her pregnancy and even then she had to go to the dr for a blood test to confirm it.  some women just dont produce alot of the hCG needed to make the sticks work. If you are really late than maybe call your dr and talk about your concerns.

Thanks so much I feel as if I finally have a reasonable answer. I just moved to Phoenix and obviously I need to change pcp's because she wouldnt even say what you said and im sure she has heard of it. It was like pulling teeth to get a blood test. Meanwhile, I cant stop eating,mouth is watering like crazy,nausea, weird feeling in my stomach and on top of that I eat and 30 mins later im starving like crazy. If I had my way I would never get out of bed because im always exhausted. I wouldnt mind being pregnant I just want to know and I have to wait a week for the blood test I had today.

I get symptoms a few weeks before I can get a positive pee test.  I've even had a negative blood test when I was about 5.5 weeks pregnant.

Did you get your blood work back yet?  Just curious

Edited: Never mind I need to learn to read. You said a week. Why do you have to wait a week. That seems odd. I know my obgyn has it back same day. I know every dr is different

A week for a pregnancy blood test? That's absurd - I would go to a Planned Parenthood or something that can offer quicker turnaround results.

I had 3 First Response home pregnancy tests give me a negative result - all 3 of them! I was actually about 7-8 weeks pregnant with soaring levels of HCG - no one (including First Response, who I emailed) understood why the home tests came out negative.
