Why am I so messed up?

I have been having such a hard time with just about EVERYTHING in my life right now.

I keep trying to remind myself that this is probably normal and will improve as my pregnancy progress, but it does not make it any easier to deal with.  I have ZERO patience.... talk about road rage, anger in the workplace and taking it out on the ones you love.  The worse part is not being able to spend quality time with my 8 month old.  If I am not pucking, I'm dead tired, pissed off, sad, confused, hungry - you name it.

I would like to say I feel better after getting this out, but I don't.  I feel so lost :(

Having a hard time seeing that 42 read this and didn't respond.
Anyway, I am out of control from like weeks 9-20 as far as pregnancy goes. I am all over the map ... super on edge, no patience ... pretty much everything you have said. it's a LOT harder when you already have a little one depending on you as well. You're "normal", don't worry. I know its not fun, but you're not alone ...

Thank you for responding.  I was thinking the same thing about all the reads and no responses (which made me feel even worse)

Its good to hear that you are feeling similar feelings (I mean I am sorry you have feeling like this, but its reassuring to know its somewhat normal).  i just hope I don't do anything I will regret while in this state - like fire someone at work or get a divorce.

Thanks again

Have patience and be kind to yourself!!  It is normal!!  I felt the same way this pregnancy the first 16 weeks or so.  My husband could hardly speak to me or else he'd end up getting his head bitten off!  The kids at the school would ask me 'what's wrong with you?'  It's hard... and you've got the little one to boot!

Hang in there, this too shall pass!!!

My feeling is that your body is still coping with your last pregnancy and now you have this 2nd pregnancy and that is why everything seems to be setting you off! I remember being really irritable at the beginning and the end of my last pregnancy. Try to focus on the postive things in your life right now (your baby, your hubby....not to mention you live in such a beautiful state). I know it's rough, but you will get through this! As the saying goes, What don't kill us makes us stronger! And I'm a firm believer that God don't give us more than we can handle! Big hugs!

Makes sense to me.

I am actually looking at my little boy right now. Not a care in the world - laughing and looking all around.  I am blessed to have him.

Thanks for the reminder.

funny you say this I just found this yesterday on CNN and it has helped me. I cried the other night because I yelled and got so mad at my 6 year old for no reason! I really need to calm down for the family's sake!
