Newbie here.... questions...
Hi. I am 14 months post op RNY. Husband just had it also, 2 months ago. I have not lost anything since about the 7th month so pretty sure I am done loosing :) I am 160 & ok with that, I know I could afford to loose a few more but fine with where I am. So we have 2 boys & Hubby really wants that girl... Oh & my RNY doc has already cleared me,
questions:
Is every pregnancy after RNY considered high risk?
Did anyone have trouble with the baby gaining enough weight during pregnancy?
Did anyone breasfeed before but have problems after RNY?
Thanks for any imput, just curious & started to get used to the idea of MAYBE having another :D
Is every pregnancy after RNY considered high risk? No, RNY itself does not make you high risk, so unless you have another factor complicating things you are considered "normal"
Did anyone have trouble with the baby gaining enough weight during pregnancy? I was almost 4 yrs post op when I was pregnant so stabilized and able to maintain my weight and eating habits. Son was born at 37 weeks and weighed 6lbs 7 oz.
Did anyone breasfeed before but have problems after RNY? I did not breastfeed before as my son is my frist and only. I was able to breasfeed him exclusively for one year. I had some supply issues from time to time but by then he was also getting cereal and baby food. He weaned himself at the one year.
