Had My Monthly Appointment This Morning

Went fairly well, Urine tested for glucose and protien came back normal, blood pressure normal, my weight not normal to begin with as I am still obese even with losing 200lbs, but have only gained 2lbs this whole pregnancy so far. My Dr had a Midwifery student in today, and she tried to find Squirmy's HB but couldn't. She did say that the baby was really moving around though. I wasn't worried (shockingly) as I had found the HB this morning in under 3 mins (a new goal), and will look again shortly for it before my nap. Also with being obese you have to push slightly harder to get it, but with her learning I guess she was afraid to hurt me....I dunno. I played my saved files for her off my cell phone and she said yup, there it is. I also found out that apparently the wind tunnel sound I pick up is actually my bowel. Huh, go figure!!! I knew the placenta sound and my HB sound and I think I impressed her... Right now I am trying to book my 19week US, but the booking office is so busy. So excited about that next milestone in 6weeks. I go back to see the Dr in 4weeks. Well thats it for now!!! Just Booked My US I will be 19weeks 1day for this appointment...Feb 24th, 2012. YEAH!!!

Glad everything is going well. Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?

I would like to know, DH doesn't want to know, so I have got a lot of whining to do....LOL(drives him insane)  Hopefully I can change his mind. He did say that "I" could find out, but I am horrible at keeping my own secrets...LOL Than if I know others will want to know too.  What's a girl to do?

I HAD to know. It would drive me insane if I didn't. I'm such a planner and I didn't want to just buy unisex clothes. But there is something to be said for that element of surprise too. Good luck on figuring out what you're going to do, that would be tough.

I'm so with you on that Tami!  DW and I are total planners. We pretty much have bought all the yellow ducky/neutral outfits the stores have. hahaha.  we're so ready to find out if Baby M is a girl or a boy. (both names we picked out start w/an M in honor of my Great Aunt Margaret.) 

There really isn't much unisex clothes out there either. The duckies are cute, but other than that, it's really hard to find stuff like that. I went to a shower before and they didn't know the sex and it was hard buying clothes.

Glad all went well and you're having a great pregnancy! I still have weight in my belly so it took them a bit to find the HB for a while, even the experienced OB had to really search for it which made me nervous. Now they can find it within seconds. Glad you're able to find it on your own!
