TTC list for 1/9/12

How are things coming along Jana and Victoria?

I was too nervous to write this post yesterday because I had my 8 week ultrasound scheduled for this morning and just had sooooooooo much anxiety about it! I didn't want to think about TTC or babies!
My ultrasound was this morning after a long sleepless night. Baby A is doing fantastic! S/he is measuring 8 weeks, 6 days! And has a heart rate of 182 bpm! Baby B actually grew from last time but was really super tiny. S/he is measuring at only 4 weeks, 2 days and has a heart rate of 80 bpm. My RE said Baby B is not going to make it. The baby had a really large yolk sac which is another sign of being abnormal. Both me and DH were shocked to see the heartbeat and honestly it makes it worse knowing that the baby is trying so hard to hang on! My RE said the hormones from Baby A are keeping my uterus lining nice and healthy and that that is why Baby B is still struggling along. If Baby B was the only baby, I probably would have miscarried by now. My RE said Baby B will probably stop growing soon and will absorb into part of Baby A's placenta. 
Both DH and I are so happy for a healthy Baby A but can't stop thinking about poor little Baby B.

In the 2WW again......  

My period started when it should have. So its back on the regular cycle. Thank goodness. I don't like to jump ahead but if nothing happens in the next 3-4 months then I am going to go see my OBGYN. I am almost 31, ( I know still young) but we don't want to wait much longer.  My husband is being proactive about taking his vitamins and cutting back on his caffiene and started wearing box briefs. He also just started a gym too.  I know it's not good to feel under pressure or put a lot of thought into but when you get pregnant once , most of you know you get baby fever and want it again.

I am very happy to hear your news. When is your next appt?

Hi Jana, 
sorry about your negative test... I totally understand the not wanting to wait much longer to get pregnant. I just turned 30 and am feeling my biological clock ticking loud a clear too, even though I know logically I still have time. I think you have a good plan to try for a few more months then see a Dr.

My next ultrasound is on 1/26. I will be 10.5 weeks. After that my RE is releasing me to a regular OB/GYN that works in his same office. Crazy!
