Early Pregnancy

Has anyone here gotten pregnant b4 the suggested time? If so any complication? Also what type of WLS did u have?

I had RNY and am currently 20wks pgnt I was 7m post op and had lost 137lbs when i found out I was expecting. So far there has been no complications and my Dr wasn't concerned about the possibility of losing more weight while pregnant since I didnt have much left to lose. I lost another 16lbs since then and when I had my Ultrasound the technician actually measured the baby a few days ahead of shedule so I know she is getting adequate nutrients.

I had a sleeve done and got pregnant at 6 months post op.  The baby is now 2 months old and is the picture of health.  Very easy, uneventful pregnancy.  Did you already have surgery?  If so, are you thinking about trying to get pregnant early out, or worried that you might be already?

I had s DS revision on Oct 12th I am down 50 lbs....... I am worried that I may already be pregnant......

 I had RNY in July of 2011--I am 10 weeks pregnant and 6 mos out of surgery.  When I got pregnant I had lost 80 lbs and was almost 5 mos out.  I have had no complications and this pregnancy is already 100 percent different than my pregnancy with my son 9 yrs ago.  I have not been to the surgeon yet (I go on the 26th).  I'm sure he won't be too happy but theres nothing that can be done about it now.  My husband and I are ecstatic about the baby--although I wouldn't tell anyone to get pregnant this soon unless they feel like they have lost all that they want to lose.  BTW--how do I get one of those baby tickers at the bottom??
