How long did you bleed after baby came??

 Bleeding lasts much longer after a vaginal delivery vs. a CS.  

When you pee, lean way forward on the seat...... almost until you think you're going to fall off.  That will make it so that the urine misses the part that is stinging.

My hospital gives you Dermoplast to spray on the peri area. It is similar to kidocaine and cools and numbs. It was great! Also would use bottle of warm water while peeing. Bled for 5 weeks but only heavy for about three.

Forgot to add, I used TUCKS cooling pads everytime I changed my pad. OH the relief! They are medicated with witch hazel. Takes the stinging away and discomfort away. I also think they helped with swelling. They gave me a small pack in the hospital and I had went out and bought more afterwards because they worked so well. You can find them at CVS.
