Hair loss after pregnancy is normal. It happens to almost all women.  During pregnancy you don't lose the hair that you normally would, so after the baby is born you lose what seems like a lot because it is the hair that you would normally have lost during the 9 months of pregnancy.  Darn hormones! You won't end up bald!

4 months after my last baby it fell out in buckets! I was going bald up top also! But then it started to grow back, I am pregnant now again but it did before I got pregnant start to grow back, I think you body goes into shock or something from the change in hormones, just keep eating protein, I eat tons of chicken salad, and (before I got pregnant again) tons of tuna, I would load it up with carrots, celery, etc...
Good luck

As mentioned, this is normal. Google "telogen effluvium." It explains both why it is common to lose hair a few months after surgery AND a few months after having a baby.
