Nuva Ring Fail First Month?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here had their Nuva Ring fail the first month they used it? We have used it in conjunction with spermicide, and as per the instructions....to the letter, but it has been out for 5 days and no AF. Picking up a test today...sigh.

when i had my nuvaring they said the first month it would be 100% ineffective until the hormones got around my body.... but after that my period wouldnt come until almost when i had to put the new ring in .... i hated that ring...it was full of stress and discomfort

I have also noticed that My WL completely stopped when I had it in. I actually have gained 3 pounds this month and I know that I haven't consumed 10500 calories on top of my 3-4 tiny meals per day. That and I was a rip-roaring beeeeyatch this month. I am totally not going to continue using it. I am glad it is gone. The only thing I hate more is Mirena!

yes!!! headaches....even my girly parts hurt... it was awful...i have the paraguard now..ive had it about 2 weeks now...and it has no hormones... so far- im still sane.
