Saw & heard hearbeat

Had an ultrasound yesterday (against the advice of our dear friend Momma Maryn) 
I took a chance that I would not see or hear a heartbeat as I just had a scan 5 days prior and could only see the yolk sac. While things could have turned out differently, I am happy to report that the heartbeat was seen and heard.
Dr. said I was measuring about 6 weeks (one measurement said 6 weeks and one said 6 weeks, 1 day) The heartbeat was slow (109) but she was not concerned because she felt it had just started beating which would make it right where it should be.
So I am relieved and can now relax a little bit. I try to keep reminding myself that I have no control over any of this right now and I have to let things progress as they should. Extremely hard to do when you're a control freak....lol
