Urgent Care visit

I was shopping today and got this horrible pain in my lower stomach which radiated down through my vagina. I was at the checkout and so I finished my purchase but was in so much pain I could hardly stand it. I found a bench to sit down and when I sat, the pain went away. This happened last week when I was at the mall. Same kind of thing, a horrible pain then when I sat it went away. Well, after calling my doctor and them just saying it's round ligament pain, I decided to go to urgent care. They checked the baby's heartbeat and that was fine, had me do a urine sample and found I have a bladder infection. I have never had a bladder infection in my life. I have heard it's more common in pregnancy but I never got one with either of my daughters. I thought I was having some type of contraction or something. I was put on antibiotics which I know I need but I hate taking medicine when I'm pregnant. I don't even like to take tylenol. Anyway, I hope this clears up the pain and I don't get that anymore.

On a happy note, I get my big ultrasound on December 20, my oldests 6th birthday. She is excited to find out if it's a boy or girl!

Im sorry that your in so much pain. I have the same thing but it was round ligament pain. Also you and your daughters or gorgous love the pics

Ugh bladder infections are the worst, esp when you are pregnant. Glad you figured out what it was! and OMFG your girls are beautiful and that one pic of Harmony with her messy hair! I wanna squeeze her!!

Ask if you can take Azo while pregnant, it's an OTC analgesic treatment for the discomfort of UTI and bladder infections, it really, really helps.

Sorry about the bladder infection...they are NOT fun! Antibiotics will clear it up quickly...feel better soon.
