The Internet (except OH) should be banned from people who worry.
I just read that getting pregnant within a year of giving birth increases your chance of having a preterm baby by 41%. That's huge! Also more chances of having complications like a small baby and even death. My first was born 3 weeks early and was tiny so I'm thinking this increases my chances of this baby being born early and small even more.
Those who have gotten pregnant within a year of giving birth, how was it for you?
I know that yourr odds increase with every preterm baby but I have high hopes for this little one that I can make it to at least 37wks again.
dont worry and try to relax. I believe all things happen for a reason and even though both my boys were early you would never know they were ever so tiny. (4lbs 10oz and 6lbs 4oz)

If you're going to worry about everything you read, then you need to stop reading. Seriously. It's much easier to find horror stories and issues online because people need an outlet to vent, commisserate, and complain. For every problematic story you read, there are probably 50 similar situations where everything turned out just fine - but, "Everything is normal!" doesn't make for a very compelling story to an audience and doesn't exactly require an outpouring of support or condolences, so you don't see it as often :)

My husband is one of 13 kids!! He is the 3rd oldest and his mom had #'s 2,3,4 16 mos apart all three times. They are all happy healthy men, 2 of whom are daddies already too. Please don't worry too much.
I think too, as post op people we are more educated than the average woman when it comes to our bodies and any children we may want to have. I know LOTS of women who have found themselves pregnant within the first year of giving birth and not one had any complications other than exhaustion...which can be expected right?
Don't stress!!

you know what, my dad has tons of brothers and sisters as well. Perhaps being post op has its advantages when it comes to having kids close together since we tend to have to take more test and stuff. I will try my best not to stress and stop reading that stuff. Thanks
