My body, and the damn pcos that affects it!
I took another pregnancy test this morning and it's negative. That's a all fine and dandy but now I'm on day 52, and still no period. I am so upset with this situation! Why is it so impossible for me to get my Period on my own with out medications? Never in my life have I gotten my period naturally, he'll my first ever period came with help of provera and birth control pills. I'm just overly frustated! The want to get pregnant is overwhelming!

I am sorry and I know how you feel. I was diagnosed with PCOS in May of 2000. I had been on fertility treatments of all kinds on and off for more than two years. I had married my ex husband in May of 2000 also and he turned out to be a cheating asshole who told me while we were separated that he hated me because I was fat and I couldn't produce  a child for him. I went into a deep depression and by the grace of God I snapped out of it and moved on. I met my  WONDERFUL Husband in December 2004 and I was honest up front with him. I told him that I wasn't able to conceive and that if he wanted to be with me he would have to be open to adoption because I was determined to still be a Mommy. We married in Sept of 2006 and started adoption paperwork after wards. Our baby boy came into our lives through adoption in June of 2007. I had my gastric bypass in 2009 and became pregnant in May of 2010. So it took me 10 years to become pregnant. I believe it's all in God's timing for us. When I relaxed about not being able to get pregnant or having a normal cycle it happened. I hope this happens for you as well. Sorry for the long story but I hope it can give you a bit of hope as well.

I'm sorry your body's being so difficult for you.  I know from my own experiences (different than yours) how frustrating it is when your body won't cooperate with doing something you so want it to do, no matter how much cajoling and bamboozling you give it.

I know right next to nothing re PCOS or obviously your health care options...but is it possible to talk to an RE or fertility dr about IVF?  I assume - again, not sure b/c I don't know much about PCOS - that w/the IVF, that they have you drugged up to the gills regulating your cycle, so there would be more of a chance of you getting pregnant?  Even if that's not an option, maybe trying IUI, which is much less expensive, would help?  It's worth talking to the dr and getting their input and assistance, if needed.
