....Silas Update....
My baby boy must be extremely comfortable!! I had my appt this morning and I am STILL NOT DILATED at all!!!!
Its kind of frustrating considering all the pain I have been having, especially this weekend. I just KNEW I was at least 2cm! I mean I have pain so bad that I can't even walk or barely breathe! Sometimes I have to just stop in my tracks and concentrate on my next breath. It hurts THAT bad! So to be told that I am still completely closed up is kind of discouraging. My doc said at my next week appt we will set an induction date if nothing changes.
I am basically 10 months pregnant now! I guess its not all that common to go this far because every time I tell somebody how far along I am they feel sorry for me and say they had their babies at 36-38 weeks! At least I know my son is fully baked! :) I SOOOOOOO cant wait to meet my little guy!!

Hang in there!
I was one of "those" who gave birth at 37 weeks. My son was healthy but small. Don't think he was ready to come into this world, but my water broke so he had no choice.
Soon Silas will be here.... I PROMISE
Take care.

According to your ticker, you have 1 week and 1 day until your official due date. I know how hard that last month is and how much your ready to have your baby. But keep in mind your body and baby are not quite ready and you won't be pregnant forever! Try to enjoy feeling the movement your son makes inside of you because soon he will be here and the "real" work will begin!
You never know what will happen and when, I wasn't dilated at all and my water just broke!

Mom to two of the cutest boys on earth.
i had both my girls at 39 weeks.. then they just flew out... jayson.. well.. i dont know what happened... he was 35 weeks and it was scariest 4 hours of my life when i couldnt see him and didnt know if he was breathing or even alive.. i delievered him in the er traige and the nurse literally ran him up the the nursery
I know that you are uncomfortable (I was too) but please don't jump into an induction. If your baby is doing good, you can go to 42 weeks (I know that sounds like forever, lol) before you need to even consider an induction. If your body is not ready, an induction will make labor even worse. Trust me, I know. I was induced with both of my kids and the first one was terrible because my body was not ready, no dialation, no anything. My second one was better since I was at least dialating on my own. I know that you are anxious to meet your little guy but don't rush him out, lol. Good luck to you!!
Your little man wants to bake a little more...he's warmand snug in there and it's COLD outside!
Hang in there...at least you know you won't be pregnant forever! Not even for another month. My son made his grand appearance four days after my 40 week due date...took his own sweet time getting ready to come out...then labor went relatively quickly once it got started. AllI can say - and I know you've heard it a thousand times - is to walk your ass off, even if it's uncomfortable. I walked for several miles the day before my son was born...got home around 10 p.m. and started contractions around midnight...he was born at 11:30 p.m. the next night.

I wasn't dilated 2 days before my due date, went in for my ob appt and they gave me a script for my non stress tests and an ultra sound because my next appt I would have been "over due" Well Sage came exactly 2 days later on her due date. I was in labor for around 16 hours before little chick had other plans and i needed a c-section, but point is you can be completely closed one day and two days later be in active labor.
