One Week Update
Sorry I haven't posted any pics of Liam, my computer is being a butt (and I haven't had the motivation to fight with it). He was a week old yesterday, and we're both doing great! Nursing is going really well and he is already back up to his birth weight. My milk production is actually so good that I've had to pump a few times just to relieve the pressure! At just three days old I sat down with my pump and was shocked to find 3 oz in it after just 10 min! I guess my worries that nursing would not go as well post op as it did with my first baby was for nothing! I am feeling amazing, and constantly have to remind myself to slow down. Of the 18 lbs I gained during pregnancy, I have just 5 left and I'm back in most of my normal clothes. I'm hoping to lose about 15 beyond my pre-pregnancy weight since I was not quite where I wanted to be when I got pregnant. Our 3 year old is adjusting pretty well to life with a new brother, and we're all settling into our new "normal". Overall, life is good!
