Had doc appt this morning....

....And still no dilation!!  Silas is not trying to come any time soon! I wanted him to come Thanksgiving weekend, but my OB said most likely not (which is actually fine because he is on vacay that weekend).... my next appt is on the 28th so hopefully I have some progression! He said if I go over 41 weeks he will induce me...yikes! Not wanting that so hopefully my son is nice to mommy and comes on his own!! And also my group strep b test came back negative so praise God!  :)

That is all!!

Best to let him bake as long as he can.  and yes, praying that you do not need to induce!  Much love sweetie!

Glad your appt went well. Just as a heads up, at my 36 week appt my son was still breech and I was dialated to a zero with a high cervix. Docs words: Locked up tight like Ft. Knox....had my son within the next week...granted I did go on a pumpkin patch ride but you never know....lol

I am so very excited for you! I remember the beginning of the entire weight loss journey. You were a couple weeks ahead of me. I am praying for a speedy delivery and NO INDUCTION!!

Try not to fret too much. With my son I wasn't dilated at 37 weeks, then the next week I was 2.5cm! Good luck!

He will come when he's ready.  Let him bake, lol.  Try to hold off on induction as long as possible.  I've been induced twice.  The first was terrible, second was not so bad but I wouldn't wish induction on anyone.

First lesson in parenthood... you'll never be able to fully plan ahead again! :)  Those little buggars come when they're good and ready whether you're ready or not.  My first was exactly a week late and the second came right on his due date.  Both times I was dilated for weeks beforehand (it meant nothing).  So, for now, just sit back and enjoy the ride, your little one will be here before you know it!
