Baby and TV - What's your feeling on this?

 We have it on a lot of the day.  We turn it off and play blocks or play dough or read a book.  But honestly we watch a lot of Sprout or disney channel and it teaches Sage soooo much that is then reinforced by me.  We don****ch sponge bob or things like that because I think they are too violent and crazy for a little one, but we are all about sesame street and super why.  They teach her to count, sign language, how to read.  I think TV is alright as long as it's not all they are doing.
