Holy increasing betas!

So... Sunday was 4wk and my beta was 444.  Today (4w2d) my beta increased significantly to 1145!!!  They wanted to see it increase at least 66%.  Ya... mine increased by 158% in 48 hrs!

OK... now most of you know that we did IVF and transferred 4 embryos.  I want to make one thing very clear.....

3 or more babies is NOT a blessing for us.  Some of you posted on a previous post of mine saying "yay... u'll have triplets or quads."  I'm 41 yrs old and I absolutely will not carry more than 2 babies.  It is extremely dangerous for me and for the babies if I carry 3 or more.  If I am pg with 3 or 4, we will have a reduction down to 2.  OK... off the rant now.

Our 1st US is on 11/15 at 6w2d.  Fertility docs do a lot more ultrasounds in the beginning than natural conceptions.  So we'll hopefully know how many healthy beans we have growing in 2 wks.

I will have my fingers crossed that it's either a singleton or twins!

Great news on the beta increase.  Happy for you.
I am with you on your decision.  I was kinda worried about that.  You will be in my prayers.

That increase is fabulous!! I'm keeping you and your DW in thoughts and prayers! I know It's a hard choice and you've been through so much to get here. you have to do what's best for you, your health and your babies!
Hoping and wishing for nothing but the best for you and DW, I know you're beyond the moon excited and I'm so glad the levels are going up!

Hi

YAY a HUGE congrats to you and your family

I do have to say and I don't want to freak you out as beta numbers don't mean anything on how many babies are there but your numbers match mine to a tea and I was pregnant with triplets. We never did IVF, multiples run in my family. I got the whole speech from the DRs about reduction but nature worked things out for us and we have been blessed with a healthy baby girl. We lost 2. You do what is best for you and stuff anyone who puts what they think on you. We all here will stand beside you 100%.
Best wishes
Crystal
